Summary:
Directs and coordinates daily activities of warehouse operations by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.
DUTIES/
Responsibilities:
Direct and assign work; set performance objectives and monitor performance of all supervisor-level team members.
Recruit, hire, train, appraise, and coach supervisor-level team members.
Manage all warehouse activities.
Monitor progress towards goals.
Prepare operational schedules and coordinate activities.
Provide a safe work environment through personal actions.
Identify any safety concerns, as well as cost saving opportunities.
Represent the Company to all warehouse customers and maintain positive relationships.
Ensure that warehouse concerns are heard at general manager level.
Communicates stated Company goals, objectives and direction to warehouse staff.
Ensure that care, custody and control procedures are in place.
Monitor operational performance.
Inspect machines and equipment.
Review operating reports.
Resolve operational/maintenance issues.
Develop and/or revise standard operational and working practices.
Promote an open door policy and team environment.
Other duties as requested.
Qualifications:
Education &
Experience:
3-5 Years supervisory experience Completion of WFLO Proven track record in successfully identifying and implementing potential efficiency gainsAnd increasing business unit profitability; Proven track record in developing and maintaining positive customer relations; Proven track record in effective leading, coaching, mentoring and developing a team.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Excellent leadership skills.
Knowledge of industry best practices within a distribution environment and workingknowledge and understanding of refrigeration standards.
Ability to maintain excellent relationships with partners/customers; Ability to identify the strengths of others, and coach/mentor them into a role that willcapitalize on those strengths.
Ability to identify inefficiencies and implement changes; Highly developed self awareness with a continuous improvement philosophy; Computer proficiency and familiarity with warehouse management systems; Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy; Advanced communication skills, both written and oral.
Certification from WFLO (World Food Logistics Organization) a definite plus.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
